The company, Godinger Silver Arts Co, was founded in 1971, the "Sutton Place" crystal pattern, was one of its first successful, but now discontinued patterns. The pattern came to prominence in the late 1970's to the late 1980's and hence we date it to that period.
To many it has an Art Deco vibe.
It is 12" high and holds 72 oz.
Although there is no label on the item, in general during this period the "Sutton Place" pattern was likely made in Czechoslovakia and is likely 24% lead crystal. There are small maker's bubbles and slight seams in the glass, and at this time, the original owners located in New York, had a reputation for insisting on high quality workmanship.
This pattern, like the earlier crystal, silver, and barware patterns created by Godinger were not made in the higher volumes of patterns of later years.
It is heavy, and beautifully crafted.

Part of the discontinued "Sutton Place" collection by Godinger of New York. Sometimes referred to as the "Shannon, Clear Cut, No Trim", pattern. This pattern was made by the company from the 1970's to the 1980's. The pattern was sourced from Czechoslovakia, although the identifying green and gold label, is now missing from this piece. In Excellent condition, some small maker's bubbles and slight seams but otherwise, no chips or cracks. less
