This piece is made of solid wood (it is very heavy) and is two separate pieces for ease of moving. The wood is stained in the Barbara Barry Collection signature "Java" color- a very dark brown with burgundy undertones. The front of doors and drawers are vertically reeded while the sides, top and legs/feet are a high gloss finish. This cabinet sits on four elegant curved legs. Modern oiled chrome pulls complete the piece.

The upper cabinet is optimized for use as a television (or electronics) cabinet, but can be used for clothes if a rod were added. It comes with two adjustable shelves suitable for any kind of storage.. The doors have piano like hinges that allow then to fold back completely against the sides of the cabinet so they are out of the way.

The base has three large drawers with dovetail joinery providing lots of storage
