Milwerk Sculptures are inspired by the style of Mid Century Modern Danish designers like Jacob Hermann and Svend Aage Holm‑Sørensen and American Mid Century designers Charles and Ray Eames. In many pieces, the grain determines the subject and shape of the sculpture bolstering the organic quality of the wood. Each piece is an original, cut and shaped by hand (by me), Paul Milholland, in my Arkansas studio. Each sculpture is signed (engraved) MILWERK with the year of manufacture.
