The frame is made up of layers of compressed strips of paper that have have been formed to look like routed wood. It has a vibrant original hand painted floral design on a bright red background. There are two wood and brass handles with a glass surface for easy cleaning. This tray has been completely taken apart and painstakingly cleaned and hard to believe but it still has its original felt bottom. See less
