A 1980s acrylic on canvas painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled Blue Spruce, this abstract work depicts a bright green landscape with pink accents under a blue, cloud-filled sky. Displayed in a black wooden frame, the painting is signed to the lower right and titled to the lower left.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
