Made by Kindel Furniture of Grand Rapids, MI. around 1950-60, this is a very solid piece of furniture. The wood has a dark mahogany stain, but I believe the wood is cherry. See less

There are scratches and micro abrasions on the top surface which are not showing up in the photos, but the last 3 photos show the worst ones. This desk was my office desk. Once you put a lamp, your computer/laptop, some papers, etc. on the top, I felt the scratches didn't matter that much. Kindel is known for high quality furniture, I have priced this lower than normal, taking into account that it is not perfect. less
