Booklet contains replicas of chocolate labels, engravings of cocoa pods and tree plus detailed decriptions of the harvesting and chocolate making processes. Aside from their intrinsic value to collectors, we think these are useful and attractive Americana antiques suitable for kitchen decor. Both wood boxes have tongue & groove joinery at corners. Smaller box "Caracas Sweet Chocolate" is 9.25" wide x 6.25" deep x 4.5" high, is printed on all four sides, plain top, bottom and inside. Larger box "Gold Medal Awarded Paris Exhibition" is 11" wide x 7.5" deep x 8.25" high, printed on four sides, plain top, bottom and there's a label inside the top lid shown. Booket: 8" w x 5.25" h.
