The bright red Virgola armchair comes with a velvet/felt cover which is in good condition. Minimal patina on the seat. The cover can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement via a zipper system. The padding made of molded polyurethane and polyester fiber is fixed to the steel frame via elastic straps. The black frame shows minimal signs of wear. The Virgola, Komma, armchair is an absolute statement piece in any room.
The traditional Italian manufacturer Arflex was founded in 1947 by Carlo Barassi and Renato Teani and deals with the new material polyurethane. with the support of designer Marco Zanuso, they have succeeded in building Arflex into one of the most innovative furniture manufacturers in Italy. The Virgola armchair was designed by Israeli designer Yaacov Kaufman in 1991 for Arflex. This piece has an attribution mark,
