Carved and gilt wood, verre églomisé and mirror plate.
Over-all in fine original condition.
Provenance: Captain Benjamin Coates, Boston, Massachusetts, around 1760; and thence by descent.
Featuring an intricately pierced carved pediment with foliate and floral motifs framing a central verre églomisé oval panel. The lower frame with carved swag and garland-form decoration.
