Rare mid-century Monachella floor lamp designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni for Azucena.
Original brass frame and lacquered aluminium shade.
Perfect vintage condition and beautiful vintage patina.
The Monachella lamp takes its name from the headgear of nuns who calmly and serenely go about their duties, between work and prayer. The reference to the nuns does not stop at the shape alone, which we immediately find in the lampshade slightly tilted downwards. This piece has an attribution mark,
