Antique Wernicke 4 Sections Step Back Barrister Bookcase Quarter Sawn Oak 1897
An antique Wernicke and Company quarter sawn oak four stacking sections step back barrister bookcase. The label states The Wernicke and Co Pat 1897, Grand Rapids MI. Wernicke System Elastic bookcase. Four graduated stacks with original wavy glass. Original dark finish. Original brass door knobs. Bull nose bottom and top cap. Copper flashed metal side straps. Barrister bookcase comes apart for moving purposes. Please note, each section is a separate piece and comes apart including a top cap and a bottom base. One section states E 13 1/2.
Bookcase is 67 inches tall by 15 inches deep wall out at the bottom by 34 inches wide. Bottom stack is 13.50 inches tall by 12.50 inches deep interior dimensions. Next stack is 12.50 inches tall by 9.50 inches deep interior dimensions. Next stack is 12.50 inches tall by 9.50 inches deep interior dimensions.
