A charming antique HB Quimper platter with a hand painted petit Breton couple surrounded by demi-fantaisie decor. Marked HB on the back, this piece was produced at the HB Grand Maison factory in Quimper between 1883-1895.
In excellent antique condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. There are fine bubble bursts in the paint and a few areas of glaze crawling on the rim all originating from production. See photos.
Dimensions are approximately 13 1/4" long x 10" deep x 1 3/4" high.
