A marker drawing by the American artist Vern Rader (1924-2017). This abstract work depicts a red circle surrounded by lines of red, purple, and blue. Signed to the lower right, the drawing is displayed in a black frame and a white mat.
Vern Rader was born in North Carolina and served in the army during World War II later moving to Cincinnati to study art where he learned from industrial designed Russel Wright. After school he work for Proctor & Gamble as manager of art and packaging.
