Large bowl with 2 handles in enameled ceramic by Robert Picault, famous French ceramist in Vallauris from the 50s to the 70s.
The base of the piece bears a handwritten signature “Picault”, typical of pieces made by Robert Picault himself and not from his workshop, as well as a stamp marking confirming its origin.
We find Picault's characteristic patterns: green and white vertical stripes made with shiny enamels applied to a red terracotta base.
This bowl or cup with two handles could be intended for a soup or for a convivial use typical of Mediterranean tableware. This piece has an attribution mark,
