Pair of bedside tables by French designer Jacques Hauville.
Published by Roche and Bobois in 1960.
His work with Marcel Gascoin from 1955 reveals the Scandinavian influence of their creations. We love the purity of the modernist lines enhanced by a beautiful essence of mahogany.
Rare to find them in a pair, they will be easily diverted at the end of the sofa because they are aesthetically pleasing on all sides. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
