Very large Mid Century Livio Seguso Murano Gold-Accented Apple Blown Glass Sculpture, Signed en verso "Des. L. Seguso" with the original Murano Seguso sticker, circa 1969. This is a beautiful piece of sculptural art. The form and execution are absolutely phenomenal. The main body of the sculpture is in a pearlescent translucent glass with a very sophisticated and subtle shimmer. The leaf of the apple is done in a swathe of gold fleck to one side.
We'd style this on a stack of modern coffee table books on a cocktail table or styled bookshelf, or as an avante garde objet de arte table centerpiece.
