Influenced by the Fauvist movement, her paintings capture the beauty of everyday objects with bold colors and expressive brushwork. Daughter of the famous Southern painter Diana Barnes, Ellie’s work blends traditional and contemporary elements, making her original framed pieces highly sought after by collectors, the Getty family and musician/collector Rod Stewart for example.
