Georges Braque was a Parisian painter from the 20th century. He embraced Impressionism and Fauvism, then solidified his signature Cubist style - he was most well known for being the co-founder of Cubism alongside artist Pablo Picasso. Works by Georges Braque are in the collections of many museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Kreeger Museum, to name a few.
