Mid Century Cocoon pendant light by Goldkant Leuchten based on a design by Friedel Wauer from the 60s.
A minimalist design. The luminaire has the simple shape of a slightly compressed sphere. The Cocoon material provides diffuse, atmospheric light. At the same time, the symmetrical luminaire body presents itself as an impressive lighting object in the room. The manufacturer Goldkant is known for various Cocoon luminaire designs from the 60s/70s. Many Goldkant designs are often attributed to Castiglioni, as the patterns and shapes used are very similar.
The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina.
