Sweet little Chinese export brass box with beautiful floral etched designs, looks like peonies to me. With a lovely white jade top carved in fretwork with a vase framed by the flowers pouring forth from it and surrounding it. A very elegant overall design. Wood interior, likely camphor. Beautiful example of a Chinese export box of the turn of the 20th century.
Measures: 2.5 high, 5.5 wide 4.5 deep.
