This piece is a version of the famous sculpture ‘La Diane de Gabies’ by Praxitele. The original statue is currently located at the Louvre and was originally crafted in the 4th century BC. The sculpture shows the goddess Artemis in a draped gown. The original is crafted in marble and has been replicated in bronze for many collections, including one in the White House. It is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition. See less
