Photo portrait of a woman by Arnulf Rabl (German-American, 1942-2016). In this soft portrait, the woman has her head turned slightly down, with closed eyes. There is light striking the side of her face, highlighting her cheek, nose, and lips, creating a stark contrast with the dark background. It is likely that the woman in the photo is Ruth Grdseloff, as she and Rabl were married in 1967.
Artist's stamp and monogram on verso, with date.
Presented in a white mat.
Mat size: 16"H x 13"W
Image size: 9.5"H x 6"W
