A mixed media painting by the American artist Michael Baum (1933-2021). This abstract work features airbrushed designs with red numbers one through nice accenting the lower edge of the work. Unsigned, the piece is displayed in a white mat and a light blue metal frame.
Lifelong artist and craftsman, Michael Baum was originally from New York and exhibited widely in the 1960s. Baum attended the University of Georgia and later art school in New York where he met his future artist wife, Reiko Sakagami. Baum opened a framing company before becoming the owner and horse breeder of Man O' War Farm in Lexington, KY, where he lived out his life.
