A pair of 19th-century English Staffordshire spaniel dogs, hand-painted with traditional detailing and historic charm.
Our antique Staffordshire Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dogs stand on graceful pink bases with detailed green leaves and gold trim. Their expressive faces are brought to life with meticulous brushwork, and their golden lockets have the soft glow of the gilding used for their production in the mid 1800s.
19th century mantelpiece treasures, the molds for this pair are considered the finest pair of dogs to have been produced by the Staffordshire potteries, and the pair is very rare.
