Store Item: OUD Delft Holland Colonial Williamsburg Hand Painted Mixing Jug C 50 "Rare"
Description: Extremely Rare C 50 Delft Biblical Mixing Jug or Posset Pot. Copied from a Southwark (London) antique circa 1640 found in the Colonial Williamsburg Collection. The original is found today in the DeWitt Wallace Museum in Colonial Williamsburg. The jug is decorated with scenes of Elijah & St. Francis of Assisi, hand painted made by OUD Pottery in Nijmegen, Holland circa 1967. This particular Williamsburg licensed jug was only made for a very short period and it is extremely difficult to find.
