Stunning Mid Century Bed Frame of Lacquered Brass, Italy, 1970s for Bloomingdales.
This glamorous bed frame consists of a decorative headboard and footboard with simple connecting steel side bars. The headboard and footboard are solid lacquered brass with floral detail in the style of works by Luciano Frigerio and Brotto of the period. Headboard has inlayed white piping.
The piece is in nice vintage condition, with minor signs of wear throughout, as one might expect from age and use, including minor scratches on the headboard rail. Not visible from a distance.
