The textile panel is an intricate and visually appealing picture of an older woman seated and a younger woman standing. The design is micro-beaded in vivid detail. The carmel-color background is a needlepoint type texture. The panel is adorned on either side with multi-color tassels. This captivating panel is suspended upon a wide brass rail with supplementary hooks. The backside of the panel is silk.

The stand is a work of art on its own merit. A brass finial with egg and dart decoration proudly sits atop the riser. Next is the adjustable screw on the riser to change the height of the panel. The horizontal rod for the panel is brass, as is the riser.

Next, the decorative bulb at the terminus of the riser adjoins the enthusiastically carved tri-legged base. The dark walnut wood base has the desirable aged patina, reflecting its long history. A trio of elaborately carved legs are standing upon squat bun feet. Lastl, beneath the fluted upstand, a carved acanthus bulb adds further visual interest.
