Striking B25 lounge chair designed by Cate & Nelson for Swedish design company Blå Station. Designed in 2011 and produced in Sweden in 2017, as confirmed by the original manufacturer’s label on the underside.
The B25 combines a sculptural compression-moulded birch/ash-veneer shell with a black felt-covered back and vivid red upholstered seat and cushions. Its generous proportions and enveloping form make it both a distinctive sculptural piece and a comfortable lounge chair.
The chair retains its original Blå Station upholstery and manufacturer labels. The natural wood shell displays attractive grain variation with a few minor surface marks consistent with age and normal use. The red upholstery retains its original texture and presents very well.
A particularly appealing example for a collector of contemporary Scandinavian design.

- Very good vintage/used condition. The red upholstered seat and cushions show no sign of use. They retain their original vibrant … moreVery good vintage/used condition. The red upholstered seat and cushions show no sign of use. They retain their original vibrant color and fabric texture, and are clean and well-maintained. Likewise, the black felt-covered chair back is intact, clean and unmarked. The natural wood/ash-veneer base has beautiful grain variation, but with a few very minor surface marks consistent with age. The chair is structurally sound, and the original Blå Station manufacturer’s labels are present, including the production label underneath. Please see photographs for condition details. less
