Originally crafted in the 1960s (1960-1965) using faux leather, as was the style of the era, these furniture pieces come from a region historically renowned for high-quality furniture production. They were made in Meda, in the province of Monza and Brianza, Lombardy (Italy)—a location famous for its design industry and its long-standing tradition of handcrafted classic and modern furniture, particularly during the golden age of Italian modernism. The artisans who created these pieces were inspired by the trends of the fascinating and creative 1960s—an era defined by expressive freedom and innovation, marked by a variety of styles and movements that enriched its aesthetic. Having undergone a complete restoration, the ottomans are in perfect condition.
