This exquisite table lamp is crafted from polished brass. Its sturdy cylindrical base supports a sphere through a brass connector, creating a pure and precise geometric and aesthetic contrast. Above the sphere, there is another tubular, flared brass connector that houses the light source at its top. This lamp was crafted in the Space Age style between 1960 and 1965 in a workshop near Paris by a skilled artisan. The use of brass enhances the grandeur, beauty, and warmth of the material, highlighting its interplay with light and its reflective qualities, which have become an integral part of the lamp’s identity. The design is inspired by the style of Maison Barbier and was made with the same attention to detail and refinement characteristic of the renowned Parisian company, using premium materials crafted with artisanal expertise.
