Antique Mid 19th Century Cast Metal Cotton & Tobacco Hanging Scale
This is a heavy cast iron hanging scale that dates to circa 1860's, used for weighing cotton and tobacco in the South. This came from an old barn in Tennessee. This is rusty and would be perfect for a rustic farmhouse decor for a home or restaurant/business. The silver tag is a later addition. Measures 15.5" high and 6" wide, weighs 2.5 lbs.
