A Neoclassical Rose Tarlow candle sconce, refinished exclusively for THE TASTEMAKER SHOPPE! It’s very large (37”H x 29”W). Originally found a bright gold-leaf finish, very formal and ornate, and in certain settings… too overbearing. It was re-finished while staying authentic to its architectural form and style. The black-ivory palette gives it a modern twist, a whole new vibe thats chic and masculine! It’s a great statement piece for both modern and traditional interiors! This Rose Tarlow sconce is no longer in production making it more “specialty and found."

Rose Tarlow is a design legend, one of the most original talents in the design industry today. Tarlow is an Interior Designer, antiquarian, and author, with a line of furniture and textiles. Her Melrose House showrooms, based in LA and NY are known for mixing traditional and modern aesthetics with casual elements like reclaimed wood, French oak beams, plaster, and stone. She blends antiques with minimalism, creating chic lived-in interiors. Her A-List clients include David Geffen, Oprah, Barbara Walters, and others. Editor, Marian McEvoy wrote in Veranda Magazine that Tarlow, Albert Hadley, Jacques Grange, Michael Taylor, Renzo Mongiardino, and John Stefanidis, were six interior designers who had an "enormous impact on the design world". She's been featured in nearly every important architecture and design publication and has won many honorable design awards. If you enjoy a story with great provenance, this sconce is for you!
