This striking 1987 painting by Milanese artist Diego Cecchin blends surrealism with futuristic elements in a vibrant, dreamlike scene. Titled "Il Giardino-Degli Eletti" (The Garden of the Chosen Ones), the artwork features abstract, faceless figures in a geometric landscape, with a robotic arm, floating organic structures, and a framed impressionist floral painting suspended in the sky. Bold colors, strong outlines, and a mix of realism and abstraction create a truly unique composition. A rare and thought-provoking piece for collectors of surreal and visionary art. Signed by the artist and titled on verso.
It measures an impressive 31 1/2" wide and tall. It is in fair overall condition as shown, with some water damage to the bottom of the canvas as you can see in the closeups. If you were to have this framed, this could easily be framed out of sight or minimized at the least. There are some dark spots on the upper half in the photos, but these are actually shadows from the window when we took the photographs and not in the painting itself. It is quite vibrant and colorful.
