Bucolic is this landscape of green countryside, which opens up in the background to blue fields and mountains. In the foreground, near an imposing fountain made up of a monumental marble base on which an amphora vase rests, a shepherd and a shepherdess engage in conversation while resting together with their herd of cows and sheep. Restored and relined, the painting is presented in a fine gilded frame 19th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
