A classic 1950s or 60s glazed cupboard.
probably originally used as a bookcase but equally could have been originally used to display other decorative household items.
there are quite a lot of these mid-century bookcases on the market, however it is important to note that this is made of solid wood and most others are made of a cheap composite amalgamation of wood with a veneer.
a lovely dark solid wood with lovely grain.
there are some surface scratches and marks to the top.
assuming you're going to put things on the surface they were hardly notice.
it has two superb thick glass doors which glide relatively effortlessly from side to side with indented shapes for handles.
there are 4 adjustable shelfs, i must note here that one of this shelf supports is missing and i have replaced with a wooden type dowel which is just as effective.
to the very bottom back corner on the right hand side there is a tiny shard of wood missing that simply does not really notice.
this is a beautiful piece i'm very much has that wow retro chic factor as well as being incredibly practical.
a few surface marks here and there otherwise i would describe the condition as very good.
please refer to the photographs for a closer look at the details and view the overall condition. Feel free to message with any questions.
