Mid-Century Scandinavian Modern Art Glass Rainbow Vases by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda, Sweden, 1980s, Set of 3
A trio of very nice vintage glass vase known as “Rainbow" vases made by talented Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda, Sweden. They all have a white base with an eggshell effect, contrasted with thin strips of strong colors they are all in perfect condition. Vallien is one of Scandinavia’s most talented artist and designer, his work has over the last few years become more and more sought after and for good reasons since most of his work has a very special feeling, simple yet always sophisticated.
The taller one is 19cm high (7.48") and 9.5cm (3.74") wide and 7cm (2.75") deep and in a perfect condition.
The second one is 14cm (5.51") high and 9cm (3.54") wide and 7cm (2.75") deep. These vases have an ovoid cylindrical shape (flattened cylinder) and in a perfect condition.
The smallest is 8cm (3.14") high and 8cm (3.14") in wide and 5,5cm (2.16") deep. The vase has an oval shape, and it is also in perfect condition, all with makers mark. They are all signed and sold as a trio.
