A collected trio of vintage European blue-and-white ceramics, bringing together a German coffee canister and two coordinating Dutch Delft jars … Read more A collected trio of vintage European blue-and-white ceramics, bringing together a German coffee canister and two coordinating Dutch Delft jars in a wonderfully cohesive set.

The larger rectangular coffee canister was made in Germany and is marked 3862.a on the base. Its wraparound decoration features a classic Dutch-inspired landscape of windmills, waterways, sailboats and architecture in shades of cobalt and softer blue. The fitted ceramic lid has an arched handle.

The two smaller square jars were made in Holland and are marked “Delfts Blauw / Hand Painted / Made in Holland.” Each features windmill and sailing scenes paired with traditional blue floral decoration. Their ceramic-topped cork stoppers remain intact.

Although made in two different countries, the pieces work beautifully together—the kind of collected-over-time grouping that feels far more interesting than a perfectly matched set. Display them together in a kitchen, butler’s pantry or open shelving where the blue-and-white decoration can do the talking.

The German canister shows more evidence of its age, including chips, hairline cracking/crazing and general wear, particularly around the lid and edges. The two Dutch jars are in very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Please review photographs closely as they form part of the condition description.
