Original poster by Hervé Baille ( 1896-1974) a French draftsman and engraver. During his career he was a member of the drawing committee of the Salon des Humoristes, and illustrated railroad and airline posters in the 1940s.
This poster was intended to promote the French Riviera region which is located in the south of France along the Mediterranean Sea. The French Riviera is famous for its beaches and is considered a paradise for tourists.
