This Clyfford Still Abstract Expressionist rare lithograph print exhibition poster " PH - 23 " 1944, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection. The lithographic exhibition poster is published by The Clyfford Still Museum, printed in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the exhibition " Drawing Painting Process " in 2014. It features an original artwork created by Still in 1944 - 1945 titled " PH - 23 ". Printed recently, this is the official Museum Poster produced in a very limited quantity.
Clyfford Still (American, 1904–1980) was a painter associated with Abstract Expressionism and is best known for his Color Field paintings that resemble jagged, flame-like shapes. Born in Grandin, North Dakota, he studied at Spokane University in Washington, and earned his MFA from Washington State College.
