Dimitri Omersa was a Yugoslav-British designer best known for his iconic animal-shaped fur poufs.
The first leather pig was made in 1927 for Liberty of London by "Old Bill",
using leftover leather from suitcases.
In 1958, Omersa took over production and expanded the line to include donkeys, elephants and more.
Omersa's designs became popular internationally, winning a gold medal at the California State Fair in 1963.

Manufactured by Omersa & Co, Lincolnshire, England, for Liberty of London.
