In Chinese ceramics, the Meiping vase is characterized by a slender base that spreads gracefully into a wide body followed by a sharply-rounded shoulder. As with this vase, Meiping vases typically have a short, narrow neck and small opening for holding traditional plum blossom branches. This gorgeous vase is a nice size -- neither too big, nor too small -- and features a soft ivory crystalline glaze. Such an elegant profile on this vase. Signed by artist on bottom. See less
