The tail portion as well as the … Read more A gorgeous, rare, and minimalist lucite sculpture from the Mid-Century Modern time period. The tail portion as well as the single sided eye are carved in which give visual balance to the clear body and base of the bird. A nice chunk of beauty from the modernist era. There's a tiny "h" carved onto the bottom, but no other marks to indicate maker. Between the base and body is a piece of chrome.

The bird is 16 inches wide, so a very nice size to sit on a shelf, table, mantle or desk.

Circa: Mid 20th Century
Condition: Very good and consistent with age. No chips or cracks. Just minor scratches to the bottom of the base.
