A pair of small demitasse cups, espresso or tea cups with matching saucers from Copeland in the late 1800s. These pieces are covered with colorful palms and reeds and a butterfly. The colors include blue, green, orange and brown. I have seen this pattern called 'palm and heron,' 'palm and egrets,' 'storks,' 'cranes,' etc.
Cups are marked d9875 and stamped with the letter B. Saucers are stamped Copeland B.
Good vintage condition. The colors are bright and bold with some scuffing and wear commensurate with age and wear. Please examine all photos for complete condition information.
Saucers measure 4 3/4 inches in diameter.
Cups measure just over 2 inches in height.
