This solid brass imperial tarro leaf dish is one in a series created by Virginia Metalcrafters. Beginning in the late 1940s, the company commissioned renowned sculptor Oskar Hansen to create a "Botanical Series". Natural materials, mostly leaves, were collected, moulded, and cast in sold brass.
Bottom features VCM "Imperial Tarro" mark and "3-23" mold mark.
