This one of the five original period posters we have up on Artsy right now used to promote the 'Private … Read more This one of the five original period posters we have up on Artsy right now used to promote the 'Private Property" portfolio of signed and numbered silver gelatin photographs. The story I heard about the signed and numbered limited edition portfolio was that the publisher had one year to sell as many as he could before Helmut took back possession of all remaining portfolios, as the photographer never really liked the size that the original photos were printed. Once he got them all back he shelved them and never released for sale anymore of the portfolios. It was also a book produced in 1989. It represents his greatest imagery from 1972-1983.
