A beautiful iconic floor lamp by the famous Italian designer Elio Martinelli for the company Martinelli Luce. Designed in 1965, the Serpente lamp is made with innovative methacrylate molding techniques for the era in which it was born. ’Serpente’ translates to ’snake’, which is clearly reflected in the thin neck of the lamp that curls around the heavy base of the lamp.
