The bespoke set consists … Read more Opulent set of ten grand walnut dining chairs designed by Therien Studio Workshop for Dessin Fournir. The bespoke set consists of eight side chairs and two host armchairs. The Volute chairs are designed in a whimsical Venetian baroque style from walnut. The large frames have scalloped or serpentine shaped crests, sides, and aprons. The walnut has a rich, dark finish with an intentionally distressed patina on the finish to mimic a baroque period age. The frames are upholstered with a fine silk brocade textured fabric having a scrolled acanthus design bordered by patinated brass tack nail heads. The seats are supported by cabriole style legs ending with scrolled feet. The chairs are sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Very good, well-preserved condition with Therien Studio Workshop labels on bottoms.

Condition: Good, wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid, sturdy joinery and construction. Very good, well-preserved condition. Age appropriate wear with minor chips and scuffs that appear intentional. No tears, rips, or losses as seen in photos. See less
