Signed lower right, 'Jack Wilson' (American, 1919-1988) and painted circa 1965; additionally signed, verso, titled, 'Morning Sun' and numbered 843.
Born in Sausalito and educated in San Francisco, Jack Wilson developed a unique painting technique using palette knives that he forged by hand. A successful painter of the Northern California coast, Wilson sold his work throughout the San Francisco Bay Area where it is held in numerous private and public collections.
