Lois Van Vleet (1938-2015)
Cleveland Ohio potter Lois Van Vleet (1938-2015)
Lois was incredibly prolific having a kiln in her home, though not many pieces have surfaced in the open market. She was associated with the Chicago Institute of Art with many of her glazes coming from their ceramics studio. Lois appears to have been active from 1990-2010. We believe she transitioned in November of 2015.
