A magnificent chest of drawers with wonderful bookended veneer circa early 20th century. Best described as English meets Art Deco style. Appears to be rosewood or other tropical hardwood. Dramatic faux bone white inlay adds detail and distinction. Drawer pulls are matching wood with similar fine white inlay. Drawers are bird’s eye maple lined! All drawers have locks—two matching keys included. All drawers slide well.
The piece has been professionally restored in hard satin oil finish. Has veneer repairs here and there—nothing that really stands out. Overall, has a warm medium brown color with streaks of dark brown.
